Lucien Brau
President, CEO and Founder
Lucien has over 35 years of experience in the semiconductor industry in product development, manufacturing operations, engineering and product line business management.
Most recently, Lucien was General Manager of ATMEL’s Smart Card Business growing business from start up to 250Million$ a year with more than 200 people.
Previously, Lucien was Director of Design and Marketing of the ASIC Product Line at ATMEL, leading business in the range of 100Million$ a year.
Before ATMEL, Lucien was Director of of Back-End Operations at European Silicon Structures.
Lucien a also held executive level positions at Eurotechnique and Texas Instrument in the field of Test Engineering.
Christian Dupuy
COO and Co-Founder
Christian has more than 35 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. Before co-founding StarChip®,
Christian was Director of the Power Management Product Family at ATMEL, where he successfully started up the product family and established
strong partnership with major OEMs in the field of portable consumer product, radio communications and payment terminals products.
Previously Christian worked at European Silicon Structures where he built up the Product Engineering capabilities, then Analog Design Capabilities.
He started his career with MOTOROLA as Responsible of Product Engineering of various type of linear products.
Yves Fusella
CTO and Co-Founder
Yves Fusella has more than 20 years experience in semiconductor microcontroller IC developments with knowledge in DSP co-processors and
8, 16 and 32-bit microprocessor design. Before co-founding StarChip®, Yves was Product Design Manager at ATMEL in the Smart Card Business Unit,
heading more than 20 designers, where he successfully designed the 8, 16 and 32 bits Secure Microcontrollers for the Company.
Prior to ATMEL, Yves worked for THALES where he designed several DSP co-processors for communications.
Hanene Maupas
VP Sales and Marketing
Hanène brings along more than 15 years plus of Semiconductor experience in Sales and Marketing. After joining Atmel, she took over the responsibility of developing the Smart Card accounts. In her last position at Atmel as
Business Development Director, she was leading a European team to develop the Micro-controllers business.
She started her career at Philips as Product Manager, then at STMicroelectronics as Smart Card Global Account Manager.
She has proven track record of design-win, business creation and market share growth in the Electronic industry.
She holds a PhD degree in Microlectronics from Ecole Centrale de Lyon and Master in Business and Management
from IDRAC/ESC de Lyon.
